InSTEDD iLab Southeast Aasia’s developers are in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to participate in EpiHack, a four-day event that gathers technologists and health experts to take a closer look at human and animal health before working on prototyping digital tools for health workers. The first day started with Digital Disease Detection symposium in the morning at University of Chiang Mai, where health professionals presented their works and challenges.

An afternoon visit to Saraphi Community Health Center, a 30-minute drive from Chiang Mai, provided participants a clear picture of the work of health workers, how they gather health data from the community.

Hacking digital tools for One Health

Our developers spent three days working with participants in the region to develop mobile tools to help health workers and people to report human and animal diseases.
