Prototyping a Connected Diagnostics Data Platform

SUMMARY

Working with FIND Diagnostics, a Geneva based non-profit, the InSTEDD completed extensive user research and prototyped a new open platform for managing interconnected diagnostic data. The InSTEDD team visited clinics in Vietnam and India to get a strong understanding of the processes and system that could be integrated into this platform. The prototype was built with open standards, based on interfaces of leading devices, and considering the need for private data collection, storage, and integration. Through potential improvements to diagnostics data flows, demonstrated by the prototype, a compelling case for impact investment into the platform was realized.
